how to Locate ScanPST in Outlook

The earlier versions of Outlook offer easy access to ScanPST which is scanpst.exe. But the latest versions of Outlook 2010 and 2013 don’t allow easy access of the inbox repairing tool. In other words, manually it is tough to locate the ScanPST in 2010 and 2013 Outlook versions.

1. The Usage of ScanPST

Outlook automatically stores the email data in PST format. All types of data including emails, tasks, journals etc… of the Outlook are stored in the PST file format. 8. Methods to Use ScanPST

It is simple to use the smart tool. There is no need to take any technical assistance. You can do this on your own. When the tool is opened, enter the name of the PST file you want to scan. Click on “Browse” to select the file and then “Start” button. PST files are located either on your local disk or  on a network path.  This is how you can scan PST files to find out errors of these files.
