The tutorial will teach how to easy setup your Hotmail with Outlook Express. Steps are easy to remember and takes a few minutes to setting up.
Install and open Outlook Express
If you are opening Outlook Express for the first time, the email account window will open without follow the manual command.
If you have earlier opened the Outlook Express or this is not your first time to open Outlook Express on your PC, the email account window will not open automatically. Manually, open the email account window, for this visit the ‘Tool’ menu of Outlook Express and select ‘Accounts’.
A new window “Internet Accounts” will open, click the ‘Add’ button and select ‘Mail’.
Before setting up your Hotmail account with Outlook Express, it is necessary to activate POP in Hotmail.
Open your Hotmail Account and click the ‘Configuration’ option to choose ‘More Mail Settings’
Choose the ‘Connect Devices and Aps with POP’
Activate ‘POP’
Now you can setup your email account. Fill out the details carefully, name, email address, email-server name, account name and password. The email account is setup now but you have not finished the account creation yet.
Click ‘Finish’ where you return back the ‘Internet Accounts’, choose your ‘new mail account’ and then “Properties”. A new window will pop up asking you to setup ‘Servers’ and then ‘Advanced’ setting.
