Open the Outlook file on your PC

If you are opening for the first time, you don’t need to go for manual help to open email setting window as it is itself opened up.

If this is not your first time to open the Outlook on your PC, you will need to perform the task manually. A few simple procedures are required to follow.

Visit the “File” menu and drag the cursor to “Info” then “Add Account”

The next window of Auto Account Setup will open where choose “manually configure server settings” option and then “Next” button

The next window asks to select email service, choose “Internet E-Mail” as it allows to connect to POP or IMAP server and click “Next”

Now, before setting up your email account, it is important to set POP in Gmail because it allows other tools to connect with your account.

  • Open your Gmail Account
  • On top arrow of the Gmail, click “Configuration”
  • Select “Settings”
  • Choose “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”
  • Enable “POP” and choose your desired “email service” connection

On the ‘More Settings” select “Outgoing Server” and “Advanced”
